Carnival yoga for children

The children’s carnival next week is not canceled, at least not in the A4plus course studio in Höchstadt. “Don’t miss anything, just come up with something, last year’s motto also applies to us this year,” reveals the course studio owner Sophie Gerner in a press release.

“Due to the pandemic, the time is not easy and a real challenge for families and especially for the children. Why not start a small joint health project with the families”, was the idea of Stephanie Hertlein, herself a mother and yoga trainer in the Höchstadter course studio. According to the idea, she wants to incorporate the children’s respective carnival costumes and thus each of the above disguises into an exciting yoga story for children. And so the children can become part of an exciting and healthy yoga story.

Children should report

Sophie Gerner briefly explains the process: “Interested children tell us their favorite carnival figure by name, and if you want, you can send a picture. Stephanie creates an exciting story from the individual characters and combines this with child-friendly yoga exercises. For example, the princess and the pirate get children’s names and find the personal carnival characters they have communicated with their first names in yoga history. “This year this idea can only be implemented virtually via the Internet. The free Mardi Gras children’s yoga lesson is streamed and “posted” live on the public Facebook page (A4plusKursStudio) or Instagram page (A4plusKursstudios) on Mardi Gras from 3pm to 4pm. So the children can take part in the carnival yoga class together with their parents; with her disguise if possible.

If you don’t have time on Shrove Tuesday, you can make up for the free yoga offer at a later time, as the video can be viewed online for a few days. And if you want and if the parents agree, you can send a picture with the carnival costume by email to [email protected], which, provided you have given your consent, can then be found on the course studio’s homepage (www.kursstudio.de) can be found.

So that there is sufficient lead time for the creation and integration of the respective characters in the children’s story, the name of the personal carnival disguise should also be communicated by Friday 12 February at the latest, with the child’s first name. Depending on the number of responses, a second children’s carnival hour may be offered online. For this purpose, another live streaming is planned on Carnival Monday. This will be published shortly beforehand on the studio’s homepage. red
