The Mexican striker opens the curtain on the All-Star Game with a great goal

The story could not have started in a worse way for Liga MX, which in less than three minutes received the first goal against in the Major League Soccer All-Star Game.
For the wedge to tighten, the goal was scored by LAFC striker Carlos Vela, who had previously made clear his intentions to compete to the fullest to obtain victory for an indisputable rising league such as MLS.

The partnership he found with his teammate Diego Palacios, was the key for the Stars of the United States to ‘vaccinate’ first the team commanded by Diego Cocca, who for the starting lineup used several of his coaches in the Atlas.
This goal, achieved at minute three of running time, becomes the second fastest in the history of the Star Games, being surpassed only by the one achieved by Federico Macheda 12 years ago.
In the first edition of the MLS All Star Game between MLS and Liga MX stars, the United States team won against the Mexican representative on penalties after drawing 1-1 in regular time.
