Sainz came into action with colleagues Charles Leclerc, Pierre Gasly and Fernando Alonso in the AS Monaco stadium. They won 4-3 against the star team of Monaco, but the main goal was to raise money for charity. Sainz did not make it to the end of the game due to his injury and the images that followed worried many people.
