Amsterdam – Corona still puts a heavy burden on healthcare workers, according to research published today. Nearly one in five has been infected themselves in the past year. Almost half of them suffer from long-term complaints, which is more ‘long Covid’ than outside the sector. They may return to work too soon because the workload in healthcare is so high.
