NEW YORK – Like a magic trick, two alleged thieves managed to remove an elderly woman’s bracelet without her realizing what was happening in Queens.
The New York City Police shared a video of the robbery in which the victim, a 65-year-old woman, is seen outside a vehicle, as the suspect in the back seat of the passenger removes the bracelet.
According to the authorities, the incident occurred on Sunday, September 12, around 7:00 p.m., when the victim was in front of a residence located in the 59 Street and the 37 Avenue in the Woodside neighborhood.
At that moment, a couple, a man and a woman, inside a car, allegedly approached the old woman and asked her for directions.
The victim would have helped them and then the woman inside the car allegedly placed bracelets and rings on the Good Samaritan while she removed the bracelet from her left arm without her noticing.
The suspects fled in a gray Dodge sports car.
