Capcom has exchanged the Hong Kong flag for the Chinese flag for the character Fei Long in the Nintendo Switch bundle game Capcom Arcade Stadium, which includes several Super Street Fighter games. An image of the Japanese rising sun has also been removed.
Among other there is a message on Twitter over the Chinese flag by the Bruce Lee inspired character Fei Long, in the screen to choose a character. In addition, screenshots have been placed of what this looked like in the game, namely with the Hong Kong flag after the British transfer of sovereignty in 1997 and before that with the Hong Kong flag from the British era. The thread on Twitter complains about this change. Also in one YouTube-video van Street Fighter II, the game that is part of the free downloadable Nintendo Switch title Capcom Arcade Stadium, the Chinese flag is visible at Fei Long, with Hong Kong under the flag.

The Street Fighter game has also made another adjustment, which was probably made to avoid Chinese irritations. It is not the first time that Capcom is making these kinds of changes. In 2018, the game company already changed the Hong Kong flag to the Chinese flag at Fei Long in the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection bundle game. And in Street Fighter V from 2019, the rising sun had already been exchanged for a neutral representation of a sun in the bathhouse of E. Honda.
