For the first time, a woman will head the Lucerne PLR. Jacqueline Theiler, 38, takes over the post of outgoing president Markus Zenklusen, who leaves the leadership of the party after four years.
The delegates of the cantonal section unanimously elected it Tuesday evening in Kriens (LU), said the PLR Lucerne in a press release issued after the general assembly.
The daughter of former national and state councilor Georges Theiler had been proposed by the selection committee and the party leadership. According to the press release, her mandate must last until 2024. Communications advisor, Jacqueline Theiler lives in Lucerne. (Ps / nxp)
