Two thugs robbed an employee and a client of a branch of the Cantonal Bank of Friborg (BCF) in Attalens (FR). The individuals, who fled with a booty of several tens of thousands of francs, are still running. No one was injured.
The two people went to the bank counter Friday around 4:50 p.m., their faces concealed, said the Friborg cantonal police in a press release. The perpetrators robbed the client and the employee with a handgun. They were given the money, before fleeing in an unknown direction.
Numerous police patrols have been dispatched to the region, in collaboration with the Vaud cantonal police. The research undertaken, with the help of a dog, has so far failed to arrest the two fugitives.
The victims were taken care of and a psychological cell was requested. An investigation has been opened. The Friborg cantonal police ask anyone who can provide information to contact them. (Ps / nxp)
