While participating in a cycling race, a 44-year-old man collided with two vehicles on Wednesday in Jaun. Rega had to intervene.
The sportsman was helicoptered by Rega to a hospital.

At around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, a motorist crashed into a cyclist. The 23-year-old driver was driving on Hauptstrasse, from Jaun in the direction of Boltigen, in the canton of Friborg. It was then placed in the preselection order with a view to taking the green Dorfstrasse on the left, a press release from the Friborg Cantonal Police tells us.
When she started, she didn’t notice the oncoming cyclist. The latter, aged 44, fell heavily on the catch. He participated in a race organized by Time4sport. The sportsman was then thrown against another car. Only injured, he was helicoptered by Rega to a hospital.
Due to rescue operations, traffic was disrupted. It was alternately regulated for 1 hour 15 minutes. The cycling event was stopped shortly after the accident.
