A head-to-head collision between two cars left one dead Wednesday afternoon in Neuenegg, in the canton of Bern, according to a press release from the Bernese cantonal police. The driver of the second vehicle, seriously injured, was hospitalized.
A man was driving from Neuenegg in the direction of Laupen, when he moved towards the middle of the road in a bend. He collided head-on with an oncoming delivery car. Despite the intervention of the emergency services, he died of his injuries at the accident site.
The road had to be closed for several hours. An investigation has been opened. (ats / nxp)
