Canal Cocina launches a free school on television and internet to dominate the kitchen

Canal Cocina was a pioneer in video recipes and now launches a free course to graduate in the kitchen with the help of the chef Sergio Fernandez, with extensive experience as a teacher at the Madrid Hospitality School. This Thursday, April 1st, the channel opens its school with “an essential syllabus, lots of tricks and endless curiosities.” The first chapter, as it seemed compelled by the channel’s logo, is dedicated to the egg.

The largest creator and producer of gastronomic content for television in Spain, produced by AMC Networks International, launches its school with a format “especially didactic, close and fundamental to know how to defend oneself between stoves”, they assure from the channel. Sergio Fernández will try to turn the rookies into worthy ‘kitchens’, without neglecting the most loyal and expert spectators.

Present in more than five million homes, Canal Cocina takes into account with this new space the current situation, the result of confinement and teleworking, which has caused many people to come to the kitchen for the first time. ‘Escuela Canal Cocina’ opens on Thursday 1 at 2.30 p.m. and will be broadcast from Monday to Friday, at four different times: at 11.00, 2.30, 8 p.m. and 11.30 p.m. On weekends it can be seen at 12:00, 17:00 and 22:30.

Canal Cocina, directed by Mandi Ciriza, produces 80% of its content in more than 200 different formats and is distributed in all pay television operators: Movistar +, Vodafone TV, Grupo Euskaltel (Euskaltel, R and Telecable), Orange TV and local cable.
