While many features allow you to unpack and upgrade your RAM and storage, the HP Envy x360 (2022) isn’t one of them, you might think the 2-in-1 is upgradeable but unfortunately, everything is soldered to the On HP Envy motherboard x360 (2022).
That means you’ll have to pay HP extra to upgrade storage and RAM when you buy the device. You can push up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. Fortunately, the upgrades are relatively affordable compared to other laptops, costing between $20 and $120.

On both the 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch models, HP allows you to upgrade to up to 16GB of RAM, with 8GB of RAM as a standard option. In both cases, HP uses dual-channel DDR4 memory. The 8GB RAM model has a 2GB dual stick, while the 16GB RAM model has an 8GB dual stick. Upgrading to 16GB of RAM costs another $70.

Depending on which HP Envy x360 (2022) model you purchase, you’ll get 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage. The 13.3-inch model comes with 512GB of storage by default, while the 15.6-inch Intel and AMD models both come with 256GB of storage. If you want to upgrade, you’ll pay between $20 and $120.
