The Trust for the Tourism Promotion of Acapulco, in Guerrero, launched since yesterday a campaign to relaunch and redefine the tourist image of the port and attract visitors, however, the Videos were criticized on social networks.
Yesterday, the first video of the campaign, titled Mom, I´m in Acapulco, It was published on social networks and with it, it sought to give a fresh and youthful image to the port, in the search to bring tourism. “Today, we stop being a postcard from the past, today, we change the rules“is heard in one part of the recording.
However, users of social networks criticized the campaign, accusing that the video shows an Acapulco different from reality, comments to which Pedro Sola joined, who said that “It looks like they are promoting a brothel.”

After criticism of the first video, today, the trust released another clip highlighting some beaches and natural attractions of the Acapulco port, in which young people were shown having fun.

Astudillo regrets Acapulco promotion campaign
The Governor of Guerrero, Héctor Astudillo, regretted the campaign to relaunch the port of Acapulco, which he considered wrong, untimely, insensitive and reckless.
