As for the Drew Barrymore connection, the baby’s middle name is also the title of Drew Barrymore’s 2015 book and memoir entitled, “Wildflower.”
The two actresses have been tight since working together on ‘Charlie’s Angels.” Barrymore said in an interview with ET last year, “We’re like more than best friends, she’s my sister.”
She continued, “We have much more of that kind of relationship, we’re very honest with each other. We push each other. And we’ve had the majority of our lives spent side by side, really going through what real life is, which is an everyday high and low and we just have each other’s backs.”
Also, Diaz stories appear in the Berrymore’s book “Wildflower” several times. It’s unclear, however, if this is the reason the couple chose the name for their new baby girl.
