Cameron Dallas supports charitable causes through his social networks

Cameron Dallas, Renowned internet personality, she rose to fame at the young age of 17. his charisma and great sense of humor caught the attention of more than 8 million fans on the now-defunct app Vine. His success catapulted him to a life in the entertainment industry; Since then, she has built a career in both acting and music, starring in movies and releasing her own singles.

On September 8, he released his debut EP titled Dear Scarlett, and earlier this year he played Aaron Samuels in the musical Mean Girls, on Broadway. His way of approaching the philanthropic sphere, he says, is by leading by example.

Use their social platforms to motivate others to choose charitable causes that are really important to them and get to work.

What was your experience with Vine?

I created content and it was hilarious. It was something new at the time and it was one of the first times I was making short videos creatively. I love making little videos and seeing people’s reaction; It’s amazing to be able to make someone happy with something that I created.

Do you feel responsible, in a way, for making your followers aware of specific problems in the world?

I feel like I carried that weight with me for a while and it wasn’t necessarily the one I wanted to carry; other people put it on me. Everyone was telling me where to direct my energy and what kind of influence it must be. Little by little that was consuming me and causing me to stop being myself. It has to be natural and cannot be forced. Many times, some children, especially when they are younger and join the industry, have several people demanding that they fight for the cause they want. And that gets political and strange.

The way you spend your energy always has an intention. What causes or organizations do you support?

When I started I focused on helping orphaned children. It is something that I defend. He went to homes and orphanages, where he spent time with the little ones building bicycles, for example. Raising awareness about the different causes is extremely important, but I consider myself a much more practical person. For example, most people don’t know that when these children move from house to house, they use garbage bags to carry their belongings. It’s sad, I can make a difference by doing something about it, like getting them cloth bags. It is not enough for me to talk about it on my platform, I want to get involved.

In September, you released your debut album. What was your creative process?

I wrote with two people, my friends Chris Miles and Emanuel Franco. Back then, the three of us lived and did everything together, so this was another project for us. We created something that we could all relate to.

What made you enter the world of Broadway?

I love getting into awkward situations and doing things I’ve never done before. Everyone was extremely friendly, it was a great experience; I am happy that I was able to do it with these people, it is something I would never have dreamed of doing.

Have you ever been to Mexico and what do you like about it?

I was in Mexico City when I filmed my music video “Why Haven’t I Met You.” It is always a special experience because it is a very beautiful place.
