Cambuur lashes out against Jong Utrecht, second victory for MVV

Despite personnel problems, SC Cambuur has played hard against Young FC Utrecht. In-house it became 5-1 for Cambuur, which continues to participate fully in the top of the Kitchen Champion Division. MVV recorded its second victory of the season against TOP Oss.

SC Cambuur – Jong FC Utrecht 5-2
A convincing victory for Cambuur, which started in its own stadium with only four field players on the bench due to personnel problems. It remained 0-0 in Leeuwarden for a long time, but once the spell was broken it went fast. With two goals just before half-time, Issa Kallon ensured that Jong Utrecht entered the dressing rooms with a downer.

After the break, the team of trainer Henk de Jong walked away from Jong Utrecht. Goals from Michael Breij and again Kallon ensured a 4-0 score. Then the game rippled up and down. Jeredy Hilterman did something back on behalf of Jong Utrecht, three minutes later it was Kallon again with a goal. Tim Pieters set the final score in injury time at 5-2.

MVV Maastricht – TOP Oss 3-0
MVV has won the second victory of the season. Little happened in the first half, but in the second half, the game fell towards the home team. Joeri Schroyen put the 1-0 on the scoreboard with a nice goal. When Oss player Lorenzo Pique picked up a red card after about seventy minutes, the game was over. Schroyen and Joy Lane Mickels ensured a 3-0 final score.

Almere City – Helmond Sport 2-0
Almere City has distanced itself from the Helmond Sport of coach Willy Boessen in the second half. Almere takes over the lead from NAC Breda and has collected thirteen points in five games. The club from Breda can take over the lead again on Saturday, provided it beats Jong PSV.

Anass Ahannach and Delvechio Blackson made the difference for Almere on Friday-evening and determined the final score at 2-0 in favor of the home team. A deserved victory, Helmond Sport only managed to shoot once.

FC Dordrecht – Young AZ 2-0
The first three-pointer of the new Kitchen Champion Division season has arrived for Dordrecht. At home, Young AZ was put aside 2-0 after a difficult match. It was not easy for the home team. Young AZ player Fons Gemmel had to go to the side after more than thirty minutes with a second yellow card and that gave Dordrecht the 1-0 just before half time. Kevin Jansen put his team ahead.

Despite Dordrecht playing with one more man in the second half, the team struggled to keep the lead. Young AZ has had a number of excellent opportunities to come to the same level, but failed to do so. Just before time, Julius Bliek decided the match by making it 2-0. With the victory, the home team rises to sixteenth place in the Eerste Divisie.
