The National Archives of Scotland today released an official document that revealed the cause of death of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, 96 years old.

The rumor also states that the deceased the queen died at Balmoral Castle at 3:10 pm, September 8th. She was informed of her death by her daughter, Princess Anna.

A statement from Buckingham Palace, released a few hours later, stated that the queen “died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.”

The queen was buried on September 19. She was given a state funeral and after that the monarch’s body was buried in King George VI’s Memorial Chapel in Windsor. Together with her, the coffin with Prince Philip was transferred there. King George VI (the Queen’s father), her mother Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon and her sister Princess Margaret are also buried in the chapel.
