Dr. Erlina also reminded, don’t just come to the hospital when the symptoms of COVID-19 are in the severe category, such as shortness of breath.

“So cough, sore throat, you have to get yourself checked. Don’t wait for shortness of breath because it means lung damage has occurred, lack of oxygen, and this is dangerous,” he continued.

Previously, Omicron BA.4 and BA.5 subvariants were reported to have 57 cases in Indonesia as of 17 June 2022. 10 of them were BA.4 cases, while the other 47 were BA.5 cases.
