Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 tips: This is the game

From November 16, Call of Duty®: Warzone™ 2.0 offers action on all fronts: the next iteration of Warzon brings with it a number of new features that will add even more dimensions for all players.

To prepare you for the all-new Warzone experience, the Call of Duty team has put together a handy guide with everything you need to know to make sure you and your teammates can go after that beautiful fulfillment of a Warzone victory.

You can call me Al-Mazrah
We have eliminated the dash in Al-Mazrah, now it is back to the original Al Mazrah.

Those currently playing Modern Warfare II will receive serious training on Al-Mazrah, and the new map features a number of key staples that will become synonymous with the game, including the acclaimed Terminal map.

Gulag for two?
A familiar feel but with a twist. This time around, the Gulag will be a 2v2 environment where randomly paired pairs must coordinate to take down their opponents. All players receive a default loadout – at launch it is a pistol or shotgun, a lethal grenade and a tactical grenade – with highly effective weapons and equipment placed in the center of the map.

The Gulag will also contain a Jailer, who will appear in the middle of the match to speed up the battle. Defeating the Jailer puts all four Gulag inmates back on the map, presenting a dilemma: Will both duos agree to wait and fight this mighty foe together, or will one become greedy and try to win elimination?

Instead of a traditional Overtime mechanic, all four Operators lose, if neither the team nor the Jailer are eliminated after a short period of time, so it’s a race against the clock and a test of nerves for all players.

AI soldier
The Gulag is only one of three locations where players can battle AI warriors, as they are limited to protecting specific locations.

The other two locations are Strongholds and Black Sites, which are clearly marked on your in-game Tac-Map so you can sign up for battles with AI warriors.

During each game, several strongholds are activated on the map. Teams can visit these areas to battle AI fighters. The first team to complete a stronghold must defuse a bomb and earn a key to a black site and their custom gear. Consecutive teams must eliminate a specific number of defenders (AIs or players) and get their custom gear, but not a Black Site key.

Black Sites are a more dangerous form of Strongholds, but offer a permanent Weapon Blueprint reward and even more valuable in-game items for those who complete it.

Another exciting new feature, whether boat or breaststroke, operators can navigate streams, rivers and open seas as part of their overall victory strategy. Remember: only regular guns, melee weapons and throwing knives can be used underwater.

Fuel
Two new vehicles define the updated vehicle roster for Warzone 2.0: a powerful aircraft known as the Heavy Chopper, which can soar through the air unmanned, and the GMC HUMMER EV Pickup, a versatile craft for covering serious ground quickly with your entire team in this all-electric super truck.

• ATV: manoeuvrable three-seater with little protection
• UTV: light off-road vehicle with four wheels
• Hatchback: Four-door civilian vehicle without significant protection
• SUV (standard): 4×4 civilian off-road vehicle with squared frame
• GMC Hummer EV: All-electric super truck designed for off-road use
• Cargo Truck: Large industrial vehicle with low platform
• Light Helo: Light twin-engine helicopter for fast movement and combat support
• Heavy Chopper: Heavily armored search and rescue helicopter
• RHIB: Maneuverable tactical boat designed for special forces
• Armored Patrol Boat: Reinforced watercraft with mounted .50 caliber machine guns

Also, there are no longer unlimited fuel sources – all vehicles (yes, including the EV) consume fuel over time, and when it runs out, that vehicle is no longer usable. Vehicles can be filled with canisters on the map or at gas stations.

Service stations can also repair damage to the bodywork and tires, restoring vehicle health. However, operators can also repair punctures anywhere in the world by interacting with individual tyres.
