To celebrate the release of Season 5 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Activision is offering a free multiplayer weekend.

While season 5 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has just been launched, many players rushed to the new maps, the new weapons or in Verdanks to discover the stadium and the station.
However although Warzone is free for everyone, the multiplayer requires to buy Modern Warfare to play it. This weekend though a game will be free for all players.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer is free this weekend
Activision had communicated it following the release of season 5: Modern Warfare multiplayer will be free, and therefore accessible for all players of PS4, Xbox One and PC, from August 7 until the 12 of the same month. However, not all the content of the multiplayer mode will be accessible. However, players will be able to take advantage of the following cards in Domination, Team Deathmatch, Headquarters, Strategic Point or Elimination Confirmed.

- Petrov Oil Rig (new map)
- Shoot House
- Shipment
- Cheshire Park
