Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War unveiled Call of Duty: Warzone, as it hosted a special event. Treyarch later revealed the multiplayer of the shooter and the only thing still shrouded in mystery is the Zombies mode. It may be (partially) via Call of Duty: Warzone will be revealed.
Via the website Pawn Takes Pawn solved a puzzle that resulted in the image below. The next step should become clear through the website today and it is expected to lead to an event in Call of Duty: Warzone.
There have been references to Zombies since the release of this Battle Royale game. These are the following points:
- Spaceland docs in Verdansk
- The zombie round ending sounds
- The howling near dam and prison
- The screaming at prison & dam
- Teddy bears throughout verdansk
- Zombie rat in Warzone
- The 115 on RCXD
- The “gas”
They can be fun Easter eggs, it can also be that it all serves in preparation for an in-game event. After all, this was already done before the unveiling of the single player, which turned out very well. There may be a Zombies reveal in Verdansk soon. Perhaps gradually with hints in the sixth season starting tomorrow.
