According to an insider, the unveiling of the new Call of Duty is very close. That may be correct, because promotional material with the previously released name of the game has also been leaked: Black Ops Cold War.
Initiated Okami claims that the new Call of Duty game will be revealed ‘very soon’. Promotional material called Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War also leaked.
“Small update regarding Call of Duty 2020” says Okami Twitter. “A week ago, Call of Duty was on track to release this year. No delay. Unveiling is very soon.”
Okami largely leaked correct Call of Duty info in the past. For example, the channel previously leaked the remaster of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and possibly the name of the upcoming game, Black Ops: Cold War.
In addition, YouTuber report The Gaming Revolution and website Modern Warzone promotional material leaked with the game’s logo, Black Ops Cold War. These are double XP codes on bags of Doritos, which can be used from 5 October. Last year saw a similar promotion for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which started about two weeks before the game’s launch.
Activision and Infinity Ward previously hinted at a new Call of Duty: Black Ops in Warzone through Cold War bunkers and objects. Other rumors claim that the game is one reboot from Black Ops and Warzone integrates with a new map.
Normally Activision will unveil the new Call of Duty game around May. Due to issues at Sledgehammer Games and Covid-19, the disclosure may have been delayed.
