The case occurred this Friday, on Calle 5 with Carrera 80, in Cali, when an ambulance, which was going about 100 kilometers per hour, ran over an older adult, who was 87 years old.

The Police and authorities of the City Mobility Secretariat reported that the investigation is progressing. The Mayor of Cali, Jorge Iván Ospina, said that he will denounce the ambulance company, whose driver exceeded the speed limits.
The Mayor’s Office was able to verify, using the GPS of the identified ambulance, that it was at more than 100 kilometers per hour. However, the motorcyclist, apparently, had remained on the site at the time of the fact.
However, the municipal administration also reported that there would be no hospital emergency to justify speeding.
For this reason, the president of Cali called the driver “irresponsible”.

“I will make the complaint for murder to that irresponsible ambulance. If it caused someone’s death, it must be reported, “said Ospina.
He added that he himself has asked the justice in Cali for all the pertinent information to take this case to the latest consequences.
