New tariffs will take effect from October

From October, electricity tariffs will be reduced from UAH 1.68 to UAH 1.44 per kW, but for those who consume less than 250 kWh.

The government is cutting electricity tariffs, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said on Wednesday, August 11.

Thus, the electricity tariff for households consuming less than 250 kWh will be reduced to UAH 1.44 per kW (from the current UAH 1.68).

At the same time, for families consuming more than 250 kWh per month, tariffs remain unchanged.

The new rules will take effect from October 1st.
