TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The latest entry level smartphone Realme C15 just launched in Indonesia, Tuesday, July 29, 200. Prices vary from IDR 1,999 million for the 3GB / 64GB RAM variant, then the 4GB / 64GB capacity is priced at 2,199 million, and the 4GB / 128GB variant for IDR 2,499 million .
The C15 realm adds to the competition in the entry level segment. Several other brands also launched a smartphone with a similar price.
Xiaomi, for example. On July 14, 2020 this fellow Chinese brand launched an entry level mobile phone Redmi 9 whose price is cheaper, namely the 3GB / 32GB RAM variant of Rp.1,799 million and 4GB / 64GB of Rp.1,999 million. In terms of engine, Redmi 9 is fitted with a higher chip, the MediaTek Helio G80, compared to the C15 Realme that installs the Helio G35.
But the Redmi 9 battery is below the C15 Realme because it is 5,020 mAh compared to 6,000 mAh. Both are equally equipped with fast charging 18 W. In terms of screen size is not much different, because Redmi 9 has a size of 6.53 inches, while the C15 6.5 inch Realme.

Another similarity between the two phones is the quad-camera settings. The difference is only in the sensor that is installed, Redmi 9 with the main sensor 13 MP, ultra-wide 8 MP, 5 MP macro, and 2 MP depth, while Real C15 installs a 2 MP macro sensor.
Another smartphone that fills competition in this class is Infinix Note 7 who attended last 30 April 2020. This phone has a battery capacity of slightly below Redmi 9, which is 5,000 mAh, but on the contrary with a slightly larger screen, 6.95 inches plus punch hole. The price is also higher, starting from Rp. 2,499 million for three memory choices namely 4 GB / 64 GB, 4 GB / 128GB, and 6 GB / 128 GB.
