BYU-Idaho Enrollment Surges to Record Highs

BYU-Idaho Welcomes Record-Breaking Enrollment for Fall⁢ 2025

REXBURG, ID – Brigham young University-Idaho (BYU-Idaho)⁣ announced today a historic Fall⁤ 2025 enrollment, marking the‌ largest ⁣incoming class in the university’s history and continuing a trend of meaningful growth. The surge‍ in student‍ numbers underscores BYU-Idaho’s expanding‌ reach and its commitment to accessible,values-based higher education.

This latest enrollment⁢ milestone-a⁤ 6.7% increase over Fall 2024-builds on record growth from ​the previous year,solidifying BYU-Idaho’s position as ⁣a rapidly expanding institution. The total campus-based student body now stands at⁤ 24,450,‌ comprised of 20,677 students attending⁢ face-to-face courses and 3,773 participating in online‌ programs‌ and/or internships. Approximately 22,000 students are residing in Rexburg for the semester.

The university’s growth extends beyond its traditional campus model. Through its partnership with BYU-Pathway Worldwide,‍ BYU-Idaho serves‍ an additional 22,083 online students, bringing the total university enrollment ‌to 46,533. This blended ⁣approach ​allows⁣ BYU-Idaho to reach a wider audience and provide educational opportunities to students ⁢around the globe.

Demographically, the campus-based student body is nearly evenly divided between male and female students, with 12,191 men (50%) ⁣and 12,259 women (50%). ​ Approximately 20% of ⁢the on-campus student population-4,918‌ students-are married.
