The incentive of $ 1,200 for the beneficiaries of the Nutritional Assistance Program (PAN) could come in June, according to phases established by the Department of the Treasury for disbursements.
The agency’s secretary, Francisco Parés, explained that in the first phase the funds coming from the federal CARES law will be delivered to the citizens who filled the payroll of 2019.
According to the head of the Treasury, the information of these taxpayers, such as their bank account number, is already updated in the Unified Internal Revenue System (SURI). Those who filed that return but did not offer their account number will do so next Friday when a link is enabled on the SURI website for it.
Last Saturday it began sending incentives to 230,000 taxpayers, for a total of $ 396 million federal incentive awarded.
