Businesses in the entertainment and nightlife sector will remain closed

The business of the sector of entertainment and nightlife like bars, will continue closed due to the high number of infections, hospitalized patients and deaths in the state.

This was stated by the coordinator of State Civil Protection, Ana Lucia Hill Mayoral, who in a morning conference of Governor Miguel Barbosa Huerta, pointed out that at this moment a reopening of the sector is not possible due to the red traffic light.

He even said, establishments have not worked on their sanitary protocols so that they can return to provide service when epidemiological conditions permit.

He added that businessmen have approached the agency to ask to be allowed to open; however, currently this cannot be authorized.

“Today more than ever that we are at a red light and the risk of contagion is the highest, activities aimed at entertainment or nightlife cannot be authorized. They have approached us, we have talked, but they have not even worked on their protocols ”.

The owners of this type of business argue that due to the 10 months that have been closedThey report great losses and the economic situation is critical, since they have not received support either.
