The Youtube channel ‘Boring teachers‘, Is the new initiative created by a group of Burgos primary school teachers. The project has been launched after the school closings to entertain and continue teaching students from their homes.

Bored teachers without students
These teachers include David Ruiz Hidalgo, professor in the area of Didactics of Language and Literature, at the Faculty of Education. He comments that this initiative arose on the same Friday that the classrooms closed their classes, at which time they uploaded a video to Twitter and they saw the interactions received.
A group of La Salle teachers created the channel, which after several videos has reached thousands of views and has exceeded 250 followers. The videos are from different themes: crafts, dancing, cooking, “challenges”, music…. Its main mission is to entertain all those students who are spending their days at home, making them more bearable.
Ruiz Hidalgo, enthusiastic about the project, says: “The students send us messages, they tell us that they are waiting for the videos and they are excited to see their teachers differently, outside the classroom, sharing our homes.” And we are not surprised, dedication and affection put in the realization of the channel reaches its students through the screen.
They have already joined #Burried professors 15 teachers from four different schools and two nursery schools. All of them, along with Ruiz Hidalgo, encourage more teachers to join the initiative, both in Burgos and elsewhere.
