RB Leipzig did not go beyond a 1: 1 (0: 1) in the Bundesliga after a two-month corona break at home despite a committed performance against a clever sports club Freiburg and left two important points in the fight for the Champions League places. Manuel Gulde’s (34th) lead equalized Yussuf Poulsen (77th).

With the draw, the Sport-Cub Freiburg landed another respectable success, even if the Badeners were without a win in the fourth attempt in the Bundesliga at RB Leipzig.

After the long break, Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann relied on strategist Kevin Kampl, who had been absent due to an ankle injury since November.
