The next threesome – but it wasn’t masterful!
With the 1-0 in Stuttgart, RB remains fully in the title race. Coach Julian Nagelsmann (33) was still not completely satisfied. Because once again the bulls gave away numerous top chances – in the end they had to tremble for victory.
Nagelsmann: “That’s a bit of the tiresome topic of the past few weeks. But we have the heart in the right place and the necessary mentality. ”Of course, if RB wants to play for the bowl to the end, Leipzig has to become more effective.
In Stuttgart the bulls fired 22 shots on goal. The ball wriggled in the net only once. In the entire season, the Nagelsmann-Elf only used twelve percent of their great opportunities – eleventh place in the league comparison! RB needs 8.9 shots on goal per goal. Average! For comparison: The title rivals Bavaria (5 attempts / 1st place) and Leverkusen (6.5 / 3rd place) are much more callous!
The graduation will be intensified next week. Because champion wants to be RB – but not in a mess …
