Butte High bulldogs Unleash Offensive Onslaught Against Lone Peak

Butte, MT – Despite technically being teh visiting team, the Butte High Bulldogs appeared right at home at 3 Legends Stadium Monday night, delivering a decisive 10-1 victory over Lone Peak.
Lee’s Explosive Performance Fuels Bulldog Victory
Senior shortstop Tocher Lee continued his notable streak at the plate, going 4-for-5 with four runs batted in and three runs scored. Lee’s performance included two triples, igniting the Bulldog offense with an RBI single in the second inning and a bases-clearing triple in the seventh.

Harris-Huerta dominates on the Mound
Lucas Harris-Huerta delivered a stellar performance on the mound, pitching a complete game and allowing only one earned run. The right-hander scattered seven hits and struck out eight batters without issuing a single walk in his 100-pitch outing.

Early Led and Consistent Offense Secure the Win
Butte High jumped to an early lead with a run in the first inning, courtesy of an RBI single by Tegan Duffy. They extended their lead with three more runs in the second,highlighted by Lee’s hit down the left field line and two runs scored on a passed ball. Kodie Kjersten added two more RBIs with a single to center in the third inning, solidifying Butte’s advantage.
The Bulldogs’ offense was relentless, amassing a total of 14 hits. Matthew Donaldson also had a four-hit night, while Karson McEwen contributed two hits, including a double. McEwen and Kjersten showcased their speed, stealing multiple bases as Butte High collectively stole eight bases.
Defensive Prowess and Lone Peak’s Struggle
Defensively, Butte High was flawless, committing no errors and executing a double play. Gunner Bushman anchored the defense behind the plate with eight defensive chances.
Lone peak’s only luminous spot was Oliver McGuire,who went 3-for-3 and drove in the Big Horns’ sole run.Ebe Grabow suffered the loss, allowing six runs (four earned) over four innings.

With a 9-8 record, Butte High will return to action Thursday at home against Sentinel.
