Bulk Cooking Oil Price Increases to Rp 19,000/Kg, Impact of Rising Palm FFB and CPO Prices

SERAMBINEWS.COM, JANTHO – The retail price of bulk cooking oil made from palm oil seeds, Sunday (31/10/2021) reached Rp. 19,000 per kilogram, an increase from the previous Rp. 17,000/Kg.

This price increase was triggered by the increasing price of fresh fruit bunches or FFB and Crude Palm Oil (CPO).

Bulk cooking oil supplier in Lambaro Wholesale Market Aceh Besar, Ucok Zainun, conveyed this when answering Serambinews.com, Sunday (31/10/2021).

According to him, the price at the dealer level is currently 17,500 per kilogram.

“The retail price can reach Rp 19 thousand per kilogram,” said Ucok Zainun.

The increase in the price of bulk cooking oil, according to Ucok Zainun, has not affected his demand.

The demand is still normal, there are around 20-30 drums sold per day.
