BRUNSSUM – “Until here and no further,” says Mayor Wilma van der Rijt of Brunssum in Limburg about the systematic nuisance among young people in her municipality. For years, dozens of youngsters have made residents and passers-by feel intimidated by verbal abuse, vandalism, fireworks and threats. Starting next week, there will be a three-month ban on gathering in the center for everyone aged 10 to 23 years.
