Full of anticipation, the “Leave the Door Open” duo confirmed the launch of their own Las Vegas residency.
What a success!
When Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak got together, both artists actually only wanted to groove and release a few hits. Under the stage name Silk Sonic, the duo even released their debut album “An Evening with Silk Sonic” in 2021 and was able to land at number two in the US charts with the fun. The resulting single “Leave the Door Open” secured itself the top spot in their home country and New Zealand.
Own show in Las Vegas
After less than a year together, Silk Sonic has landed the next coup: Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak confirmed their first joint residency show via Instagram, Twitter and Co., which has the same name as their first studio album.
On February 25, 2022, the first show is scheduled to take place at the Dolby Live Theater at Park MGM in Las Vegas. From Friday, January 21st, you can secure tickets for all 13 performances, which will end on April 2nd. While that move is new territory for Anderson .Paak, Bruno Mars was already able to lure his fans to the desert city in 2016 and knock everyone’s socks off in the same halls.
