Brother of legendary accordion player Juancho Rois dies of a heart attack

Jose Gregorio Rois Zuniga, brother of the legendary accordion player Juan Humberto Rois, known to his family and thousands of fans as Juancho Rois, died this Saturday morning as a victim of a heart attack when he was at his residence in the center of the municipality of San Juan del Cesar.

A lawyer by profession, José Gregorio was master of the word, an eloquent man, with vast knowledge of vallenato folklore material that made him worthy of integrating a luxury payroll in a vallenato music program called The Vallenato Controversy, a space that was broadcast on various radio frequencies including RCN, Cardenal and Radio Delfín, among other stations in La Guajira.
