Brooklyn gas station ATM robbed

Authorities released security camera footage that recorded the moment two thieves dismantled an ATM and put it in a van in Brooklyn.

The incident happened in the early hours of Friday, on Atlantic Avenue near Milford Street, in the East New York sector.

During the robbery, one of the suspects distracted the workers at the BP gas station, buying a lottery ticket, while his partner dismantled the ATM.

The employees immediately alerted the police when they realized what happened.

It is estimated that the ATM contained between $ 500 to $ 1,000.

The suspects have yet to be caught.
