Brooke Shields never misses an opportunity to show off with her kids. This Wednesday, March 29, the American actress attended the presentation of her documentary in New York, accompanied by her daughter Grier Hammond Henchy (soon to be 17). The duo proudly posed for the photographers.
Wearing a long ponytail, the teenager wore a bright red suit. Her mother opted for a black jacket, on which a tricolor train was embroidered, and vinyl pants.
“Stay alive and go”
In her film, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival last January, the former supermodel says she was raped early in her career. She was tricked by a man who claimed to want to call a taxi for her from her bedroom. He came out of his bathroom naked and abused her.
“It was like a fight…I was afraid of getting choked or something. I didn’t argue much. I was completely petrified. I thought my “no” would have been enough. And I was just like, ‘Stay alive and go,'” she testified. Before this documentary, Brooke Shields had never expressed herself on this subject.
Brooke Shields married Christopher Thomas Henchy in 2001, two years after her divorce from tennis player Andre Agassi. In addition to Grier, the couple are parents to a 19-year-old girl named Rowan Frances.
