In 2012 came the sad news that former “Dancing With the Stars” host Brooke Burke (49) had cancer of the thyroid gland. She survived the disease, but there is no doubt that the family went through a very difficult time.
Now the family is in great grief again.
On Friday, the host announced that she had lost her brother, Tommy Burke, also known as “Fatcat”, writes People. He died the day after his 44th birthday.

Remember the brother
In a post on Instagram, the 49-year-old writes that Burke passed away on Tuesday this week. To the post she has attached a number of photos of the siblings.
“I have no words today. Only Tommy Burke 19.07.1977 – 20.07.2021 », she writes.
On Instagram’s story function, she has also posted a video of her brother, followed by a picture of him kissing one of his children.
“To all my friends and family, thank you for your support. I must humbly ask you not to send me anything, with love and respect, it’s not about me. Please pass on any gesture to my brother’s family and the many children he leaves behind “, she writes in the story.
Burke died unexpectedly while sleeping on Tuesday, leaving behind a wife and ten children.
