Boise State Basketball to Host Idaho in Friday Exhibition
BOISE,Idaho – The boise State Broncos will renew their long-standing rivalry with the Idaho Vandals in an exhibition game Friday night at Idaho Central Arena in Boise. tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. Mountain Time and the game will be broadcast live on KTVB 7.1 and KBOI 670 AM/93.1 FM.
The exhibition marks the start of the 2025-26 season for Boise State, who are coming off a 26-11 campaign – their fourth consecutive 20-win season under head coach Leon Rice. Rice has led the Broncos to 12 20-win seasons overall.
Boise State holds a 54-35 advantage in the 89-game series against Idaho, having won 21 of the last 24 meetings dating back to November 24, 2001.
This year’s Broncos roster features seven newcomers, including transfers Dylan Andrews (UCLA) and Drew Fielder (Georgetown). The team also returns three players who have already surpassed 500 career points: Dominic Parolin (793 points), Dylan Andrews (751 points), and andrew Meadow (574 points).
idaho finished the 2024-25 season with a 14-19 record, posting an 8-11 mark in conference play. The Vandals reached the first round of the Big Sky Tournament, defeating Portland State before falling to Montana.
Friday’s exhibition will consist of two 20-minute halves, followed by a 10-minute period.
