Leonel Brodersen and Felix Fischer each signed a new one-year contract with Eintracht Trier. The former second division team announced this on Tuesday morning.

Defensive player Brodersen is now in his second year in Trier. The 22-year-old learned to play football in the youth departments of VfL Bochum, Wuppertaler SV and Preußen Münster. There, more precisely with the second team from Münster, he also managed to jump into the men’s area before playing for the reserve of SC Paderborn in 2018/19. So now Trier. Brodersen reveals: “I feel very comfortable here in the city and the club and that is why I am delighted to be able to make my contribution in the coming season to help us achieve our goals and to help me personally and athletically through the coaching team and also to be able to develop through the experienced players and to take the next steps in my career. ”

Felix Fischer, on the other hand, has been with the club for a very long time and went through all the youth teams in Trier. So the 22-year-old midfielder is happy: “For me as a home-grown player, it is still something special to show up with the Porta on my chest. I want to do my part to get the club back where it belongs.”

Coach Josef Cinar trusts both Brodersen and Fischer to improve in the future: “Fischi is a very developable player with a good mentality. He fits perfectly into the team and has goals that match ours. Leonel is a talented player and brings a lot of speed and footballing class with him. I hope that he will take the next step next season. ”
