“Framing Britney Spears” is the American singer’s documentary on Britney Spears’ long battle with her own father, Jamie Spears, who refuses to stop being her financial guardian.
According to Rolling Stone, the documentary will premiere Feb. 5 on FX and Hulu and will be the sixth episode of “The New York Times Presents” series.
The production will feature interviews with various personalities who have followed the American artist’s career, including Dave Holmes, former MTV presenter, and Leanne Simmons, one of the organizers of the #FreeBritney movement.

Jamie Spears took control of Britney’s estate in 2008, when the singer went through several psychological issues. The court ruled that, given these same problems, he would not be able to take care of his financial life.
Last November, the California civil court rejected Britney Spears’ request to suspend her father’s supervision of his estate.
