British Queen celebrates birthday with military parade

On the lawn of the so-called quadrangle, the courtyard of Windsor Castle, 274 soldiers gathered, more than three times as many as last year. Seventy horses also participated this time.

Elizabeth took off the military parade from an erected tent. Last year she did it on her own and this year she was joined by her cousin Edward, the Duke of Kent. He is also the Colonel of the Scots Guards.
