British fighter jets flew to Sweden and Finland for military exercises

It is reported that the Typhoon FGR4 and F-35B Lightning fighters went to the Scandinavian countries. The British side, in addition to the exercises, is considering expanding its presence in this region.

It is also reported that the deployment of British aviation takes place at the request of the host countries. The planes have already conducted combat exercises with Finnish F-18 Hornets and Swedish Gripen.

“Finland and Sweden are important defense partners and we welcome their NATO membership bids, which will make the alliance stronger as we face a new threat in Europe. These deployments underline our determination to strengthen this partnership and ensure that our forces work together seamlessly.” British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said.
