Bamus Betawi urged the PDIP politician to apologize. Bamus Betawi objected to Ruhut’s mention of ‘Betawi’ in spreading hoaxes.
Starting from Ruhut’s post via Twitter account @ruhutsitompul. On his Twitter account, Ruhut posted a photo of Anies wearing traditional Dani ethnic clothing, Papua with the caption carrying Betawi.
“Ha ha ha, Betawi people say, don’t be scared X Sip,” thus caption Anies Baswedan’s meme photo uploaded by the Twitter account @ruhutsitompul.
Ruhut himself has spoken. Ruhut denies racist accusations Anies meme post dressed in the custom of the Dani tribe.
Ruhut said the purpose of his tweet was to show that Anies often tries to show himself. In his explanation, Ruhut also brought up the Javanese.
“Because it’s been proven that he says he’s originally from Yogya, yes, he’s Javanese. Now someone else is making a picture of him being a Papuan. There are various kinds of people coming to a native area. His name is usahe right,” said Ruhut, Thursday (12/5).
Bamus Angry Ruhut Bringing ‘Betawi’
Personally, the Chairman of the Bamus Betawi Riano admitted that he did not accept it because he also mentioned Ruhut in the tweet dragging the Betawi people. Moreover, the upload is also considered a hoax (hoax) mere.
“We, Bamus Betawi, are very angry, Brother Ruhut is spreading hoax news by tweeting the name Betawi. Betawi people don’t like to spread false news that leads to SARA issues and fighting sheep,” said Riano, as quoted by Antara. BetweenFriday (13/5).
Bamus Betawi urges Ruhut to apologize
The Betawi Deliberative Body (Bamus) urged Ruhut to apologize for the post. Chairman of Bamus Betawi Riano P Ahmad brought up Ruhut who also included the word ‘Betawi’ in his post.
Riano considered Ruhut’s post as if it were about to clash between ethnic groups in the country through the meme of Anies wearing a traditional dress from one of the tribes in Papua.
“Therefore, we Betawi residents ask Brother Ruhut to apologize to the Betawi community, for bringing up the Betawi name in spreading hoaxes,” said Riano.
