Bressol. Rowing: they shone in Montauban

It has been a busy week for the Bressols Aviron-Club, which was participating in a major regatta near Montauban. The red and white colors of the local club have become inevitable when looking at the pool. During this day, President Luc Fénié closely supervised the club’s next generation honors training policy. “Three boats of eight rowers were involved, which obviously represents loyalty to our discipline and essential teamwork on the water,” analyzes one leader. In particular, we were able to see the J 18, senior men and leisure master categories. Note the excellent victory of the eight-man boat in the master leisure and J 18 categories and the excellent second place for the eight-man senior boat.

With the same workload, athletes offer a profitable muscular performance; a sufficiently sustained effort consumes energy, but rowing is also a sport of flexibility, we forget that too often. Stretching is essential and good at any age. “The more flexible you are, the less the muscles ask the heart to work,” analyzes an educator. For the Bressol rowers the meeting was once again a great success, as the boat of four J 14 category mixed rowers finished second overall and first in mixed crews. Finally, it should be noted that the yolette for beginners comes in tenth position and thirteenth for the mixed bat.

The end of the year will be very busy for athletes who continue to train outdoors or indoors, with a Christmas course just around the corner that will allow them to deepen their first athletic rudiments.
