Bremen Classic Motorshow shows Monster-Isabella with 2000 PS

The classic car season 2020 has opened in Bremen. The Classic Motorshow shows everything related to vintage cars, motorcycles, young classics and historical motorsport. There are spare parts and tips for restoration. The fair has developed into a meeting point for lovers of historic vehicles far beyond northern Germany. Above all, the clubs are given a lot of space.

But despite all the joy of vintage cars, you are also worried about the next generation. Only 40,000 visitors are expected this year. It used to be 45,000 to 50,000. The loyal fans are between 40 and 70 years old. They prefer classic classic cars that are true to the original.

The young audience should attract conversions and tuned cars. A special monster awaits them in 2020. Frank Richter (58) has converted a Borgward Isabella – built in 1954 – into a dragster with 2000 hp. “I bought the vehicle with the body already rebuilt in the USA in 2009, but without the engine and transmission,” he told the “Bild”. It took a couple of years of hard work to finish the monster. Richter drives the Monster Isabella on races.

Around 650 exhibitors from 12 nations meet in Bremen. As always, the Borgwart brand is well represented. On over 40,7000 square meters of exhibition space in eight halls, visitors will find everything the classic car heart desires. The Bremen Classic Motorshow is a trade fair for the scene, so many parts dealers have camped in the halls.
