Candidate Jae-myung Lee continued his solo run for the second week with the support of more than 70% of the rights party members in the touring primary to elect the next party leader of the Democratic Party of Korea.

Candidate Lee Jong-hwan, chairman of the Central Party Election Commission, announced that he recorded 73.28% of the votes in 12 cities and provinces as a result of the voting by the right party members, which was released after the Daejeon-Sejong joint speech at the Hanbat Sports Complex in Daejeon on the afternoon of the 14th.

Candidate Yong-Jin Park received 19.90% of the total votes, and candidate Hoon-Sik Kang received 6.83%, respectively.

Candidate Lee also received 79.69% of the vote in the results of the first public opinion poll released on the same day. Candidate Park followed with 16.96% and Kang with 3.35%.

The Democratic Party reflects 30% of delegates, 40% of members of the Rights Party, 5% of general party member opinion polls, and 25% of general public opinion polls in the party representative primary. The results of the first poll announced today will be combined with the final votes on the day of the national convention to be held on the 28th of this month.
