In the Antalya Organized Industrial Zone (OSB), it was wanted to respond to the fire in the factory where cold storage was produced, with a helicopter belonging to the Regional Directorate of Forestry. Because of the heavy smoke layer formed in the fire on the roof of the factory, the water could not be thrown with the helicopter, which was sortie twice. While the fire crews’ intervention from the ground continues, the helicopter will also be intervened from the air after the smoke dissipates.

Antalya Organized Industrial Zone (AOSB) Chairman Ali Bahar stated that the cause of the fire that started in the factory of the company in the morning hours is not known yet, and that the necessary interventions were carried out by the fire brigades of both the OIZ and the Metropolitan Municipality. Stating that the helicopter also intervened in the fire from the air, Bahar said, “There is no loss of life or injury. The reason for the rapid progress of the fire is the flammable and ignition materials used in the cooling factory and in the cooling rooms. However, I think it decreases after the necessary interventions.”
