TRIBUNJOGJA.COM, GUNUNGKIDUL – The Gunungkidul Health Office (Dinkes) reported an additional 6 new positive cases of COVID-19 on Sunday (13/09/2020).
Not only that, positive cases who died also experienced an increase.
Head of Gunungkidul Health Office Dewi Irawaty conveyed that this positive case of death due to COVID-19 was reported on Saturday (12/09/2020).
“The person concerned is a 77-year-old man, known to be from Kapanewon Ponjong,” explained Dewi.
He explained that this patient was treated at a hospital outside the DIY area, and had a history of heart disease.
Information about patients and positive statements of COVID-19 were only received by the Gunungkidul Health Office yesterday.

Meanwhile, the new cases today consisted of 3 men and 3 women, ranging in age from 24 to 63 years.
3 of them came from Kapanewon Saptosari, others from Karangmojo, Rongkop, and Nglipar.
“2 of them were travelers from outside the Gunungkidul area, while the other 4 were in contact with the previous positive confirmation,” said Dewi.
To this day, Gunungkidul Regency has recorded 213 confirmed cases of COVID-19 cumulatively.
